Neurological rehabilitation
Patient, specialist therapy for conditions affecting the brain and nervous system, focused on function, independence and quality of life.

Neurological rehabilitation supports people living with conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and traumatic brain injury. The aim is function and independence in daily life, defined by what matters to you.
How treatment works
Therapy draws on the nervous system's capacity to adapt. Repetition, task-specific practice and carefully graded difficulty are the core of the work, supported by strategies for the fatigue and cognitive load that so often accompany these conditions.
What you can expect
Sessions are paced deliberately, and progress is often gradual. We track small functional gains carefully, because in neurological rehabilitation those are what accumulate into real change. Family and carers are welcome in sessions if you would like them there.
Questions? You need answer
Meaningful gains are possible well beyond the early months after a neurological event. An assessment will give you a realistic picture of what is achievable from where you are now.
Yes, and we encourage it where you would find it helpful. Carers who understand the programme can make a substantial difference to progress between appointments.
Fatigue is planned for rather than pushed through. Your therapist will help you distribute activity across the day and week so that therapy is sustainable alongside everything else.
