Daniel Okafor
Biography
Daniel specialises in rehabilitation after stroke, brain injury and for progressive neurological conditions including multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. He has worked in neurorehabilitation for eleven years, the last four of them at Olivrae.
His approach is repetition-heavy and task-specific — practising the actual movement a person needs, at a difficulty that is demanding but achievable, often for longer than patients expect. He is careful to set that expectation honestly at the outset.
Daniel welcomes family members and carers into sessions, and much of his work involves equipping them to support practice between appointments.
